Star Wars, ipods, and jobs!

Due to the complaining I receieved about me not updating my blog, here comes an update as I watch Full House.

So for the past few days I have been on a sort of "Star Wars binge." I have watched 4 of the movies in the past few days. I saw episodes 4 and 5 for the first time on Friday and Saturday night. Yes, I know it's hard to believe that I have not seen the original trilogy, but it's true. Then on Sunday, I watched episode 1 again, and actually understood what was going on. Then last night, I watched episode 2 with at Sara's house after the Sioux Falls Canaries game in Huron, where they packed over 1800 people in our small baseball stadium. So yeah, I plan on watching episode 6 tomorrow night and then going to see episode 3 Thursday at 7 PM, which is also Sara's birthday. Hmm.. that is a lot of Star Wars in a short amount of time.

In other news, Tina has finally gotten an ipod!! This is very exciting news, and I can't wait til she gets her case for it that I ordered for her on eBay, because then she will come over to my house to steal my music and I can play with it. :D

At 10:37 this morning, I received a very good phone call. The courthouse called me and wanted to set up an interview for the job with the Director of Equilization. I was the first one that was called, so I got to choose when I wanted to be interviewed, which will take place at 1:30 this afternoon.

Another "special" phone call that I got this morning was shortly before 9 this morning when Sara called and woke me up. She called because Tina wants to use my nice saxophone for their band concert this Friday because she has a solo and her sax isn't sounding very good, and mine is teh r0x0r. So Tina was supposed to call me something this morning AFTER 10 to come get it so she could pick it up. But Sara thought it would be more fun to call and wake me up, and she did. She then came over to get it and proceeded to eat my cereal and play with my cat.

And yes, I did indeed get slightly sunburned yesterday while mowing my grandma's lawn, which took a total of about 3 hours to do.

There you have it, a new entry in the Life of Joe.

Adios!
