One word that describes today: HOT
The high in Huron today was 109 degrees, which set a new record. The humidity was also very high, which made for a most uncomfortable outdoor experience.
I mowed my grandma's lawn this morning, before it got too terribly hot, but it was still warm enough.. probably only 105 or so.
After mowing, I came home and showered. The nice cool shower was followed by a refreshing 2 hour nap, since I got up at 7:30 this morning to mow. I hadn't taken a nap in quite some time, and it sure felt great.
Last night was Jacqueline's surprise going away party, since she is moving to Iowa next Saturday until she goes to college at SDSU. The party was held at Amy's house, and it was a great time.
Aubrey is finally back from AIT where she was playing her horn for hours a day. I hope she had a decent time, and I will probably be hanging out with her tonight or maybe tomorrow. Sara is also getting back in about 15 minutes from a church camp in Missouri, where she said that it was 93 degrees at 8 A.M. today. Wowza, this is some crazy weather going on, I blame it on either the raccoons by Tina's house, or Tina's recent haircut, at which she chopped off 9(!) inches of her hair.
Well that is all I have for now, I hope everyone reading is able to find a way to keep cool in this insane heat. Until next time, adios!
