There is happy news today in the Life of Joe. I have finally finished getting the polo shirts ready for the hospital at work. If you have talked to me recently you might know about how much work they were. I had to cut, trim, and fold 500 shirts in the past 2 weeks. It was a lot of work and I am very glad that it is over with.
Tonight is the last night of municipal band, which is kind of sad, but is good because I will now have more time to hopefully practice my saxophone and have more lessons. I have been practicing jazz quite a bit recently, because I want to learn how to improv, and also because I will be playing some jazz music this Sunday night at the Methodist church in Hitchcock for their talent show. I might even be doing a duet with Tina, but I probably won't know til Saturday when I go to Brookings for a lesson and find some music. If you would like to come (there is free pie and ice cream involved), just let me know and I will tell you what you need to know.
At the municipal band concert tonight, we are playing all Disney songs, which is kind of fun, and I have a solo in the Lion King, which rocks.
In other news, Kate now has a diary with Diaryland as well, and I shall be putting up a link sometime.
So I have found out that I can buy a 20gb color ipod at apple.com for only $269, and you get 2 lines of free laser engraving. I will more than likely be ordering one in the near future and would like your input as to what I should get on the back of my ipod. Tag me with your ideas or email me or tell me or let me know somehow. So far, the best suggestion has been by Sara, who suggested "your mom goes to college." I will add other good ones as they come in, and may even have a poll of some sort if I can figure out how.
