So I have some very exciting news. I got the internship position at CreditSoup!! My official title is Network Administrator. :D The weird thing is that Kyle Hofer also got the job too, as they apparantly decided to hire two people for the job. My main job will be monitoring the spam emails that come in and working on the spam server to keep it updated, while also performing various other computer/network related tasks.
Tonight was the first meeting of people for the newly created DSU Drumline, in which I decided to take part. Hitting things with sticks really hard is fun, so I'm doing it. I was a little shocked to hear my band director tell me that he wanted me to play snare drum, but that is really cool. I had an awesome time tonight learning some of the basics, and think I am doing quite well.
This weekend, I am going to Sioux Falls on Saturday with my mom and Tina to go to the Festival of Bands marching band competition. It is probably the best high school marching band competition in this area, and I am very excited to see some really great shows, and hopefully Huron's will be one of those great ones.
That is about all I have to report on right now, as I must get to playing a game or two of DotA with some friends (which is a mod of Warcraft III, if that means anything to you). If you are in college and haven't heard about it, join Facebook. It's the greatest thing every.
