Tomorrow has the potential of being a very important day for my future. I am going to call SDSU and talk to them for a while about possibly transferring there next fall or even this spring if they will give me lots of money. I am going to talk to them about scholarships, what I might possibly major in, and the music program. The music program is the main reason why I am thinking about transferring because I really need to be somewhere where I can be around very talented musicians and improve my own abilities. I went to SDSU's homecoming football came and saw the Pride, and I decided that I want to be involved with that really badly. Another reason why I want to transfer is because of a certain someone in my life who makes me very happy. You all probably know who that is, and she makes my smile a lot. She is not the main reason for me wanting to transfer, and she knows that and is very glad that that is the way it is. (BTW, it's Tina, hehe) I also want to take to the SDSU people about scholarships, because I think that I can get a lot more money from SDSU than DSU, just because they have a lot more money to give, and with my GPA and ACT and such, they should be throwing money at me left and right. Mwuahahaha. The final thing I am going to talk to them about is what I would possibly major in if I transfered. I could stay with Computer Science, however I have heard that their program is quite sub-par. Another major I am considering is Math, but I don't know what I could do with that after college except teach, which I don't want to do, so I will have to look into that as well. Brady is also thinking about majoring in Math, so that would be cool. We might even room together if I would come this spring. The final possibility is majoring in music, either with performance or with education, although that would be difficult because I would basically have to start all over with my classes, which would really suck, but I love playing my saxophone.
Aside from all that, Discrete Math has been kicking my butt lately. We have our take-home midterm due this Friday, which might be kind of hard. Our in-class midterm was today, and it was uber hard. There were way too many questions on it for only having 50 minutes to complete, but the test was open book, notes, internet, and whatever else, except for other people. I think I answered all the questions, and hopefully most of them will be right.
This weekend I plan on going home to do some random computer work for my family and just spend time with them since it's been a while. Saturday night and Sunday I will be hanging out with Tina after she gets done with her 4H banquet thingy that she has to go to. That will definately be a great time.
So Tina and her family like to go skiing in Colorado a lot, and we had talked a while ago about the possibility of me going with since her brother got to bring someone along once. Well, Tina talked to her dad on msn today and asked about me coming along, and he said that would be cool. So I am very excited to go, since I didn't get to go skiing at all last year and really wanted to. Hopefully I will be able to handle those slopes, as I have only been to the places in the Black Hills, but I am sure I will be fine.
Well, that is about all I have time for this evening. I suppose I better start thinking about going to sleep, as I have to work at 8 am and then get my discrete math assignment done sometime tomorrow. Wish me luck with my phonecall and especially the discrete take-home midterm exam.
