I am tired

So I guess it has been awhile since I've updated this, but there isn't too much important news to report. I went to Brookings on Wednesday to audition for the concert band at SDSU for the spring semester in case I transfer there, and I thought the audition went pretty well, considering I didn't find out that I had to audition until that Friday before. Well I found on the next day that I didn't make it into concert band, but I got into Communiversity band, which is the band that you don't have to try out to be in. It kind of sucks that I didn't make it, but if I go there I will be able to take lessons and practice a lot, which will make me a lot better!

Thursday we didn't have classes at DSU because of the proficiency test, which is just like the ACT for college students, and I had to take it. It wasn't really hard at all, just another standardized test that takes up 4 hours of your life.

I went back to Huron later that afternoon since we didn't have classes on Friday either due to Veteran's Day, so I got to hang out with Tina a lot this weekend, which was awesome. We watched a couple Star Wars movies, and plan on watching 1 through 3 this coming Saturday when she comes to Madison.

Saturday was an interesting day for my dad, who got stranded in Albert Lea, Minnesota, after his truck broke down while he was trucking. Then when the tow truck came to get him, somehow the driver of that truck split open his head and had to go to the hospital in an ambulance. So my mom and sister had to drive 5 hours to go pick him up this morning, which they were all not too happy about, but what do you do?

So I don't think this coming week will be too bad for me, but I am really looking forward to this weekend. Alex and Kyle are coming to DSU on Friday to visit the school, so hopefully I will be able to hang out with them for a while and show them around and whatnot. Also, Tina will be coming here sometime on Friday, which will rock. On Sunday, her parents are going to come pick us up and take us to Sioux Falls so we can go shopping and all that good stuff.

I decided that the new Mountain Dew Extreme pop is good, but weird. I'm pretty sure that it made me awake while driving back to Madison today, but made my eyelids very heavy. It was just kind of strange, but I still like the drink, even though it costs a lot more than regular Mountain Dew. That is about all I have to report for tonight, so now I should go to bed.
Goodnight.
