So I guess the decision is pretty much final. I will be transferring to SDSU this spring and will major in math for the time being. I am very excited to play in the band up there and also for the opportunity to take lessons with Dr. Crawley, who is the best saxophonist I know. It will also be great to be at the same school as Tina, so our relationship can be strengthened on a day to day basis. It will be nice to be able to see her almost everyday and just hang out, instead of only seeing her on weekends.
I will (hopefully) be going to Brookings tomorrow to attend an "Orientation" session where I basically just meet with an advisor to decide what classes I should take and all that. I say hopefully because it snowed about another 6 inches today, so I hope the roads will be safe. The weather lately has been really crazy, with major blizzarding and ice everywhere, especially back in Huron, where there are tree branches down everywhere from the all the ice. However, considering it will be December in 10 minutes, I think this snow shall be allowed, as long as I don't die on the way to Brookings.
The snow has been pretty good about not having to go to class, as classes were cancelled Monday afternoon, leaving me with only one class that morning. Tuesday, I didn't have any classes because Krebsbach was gone for OOD due to family matters. Today, my discrete class was cancelled because the professor was sick, so I only had chemistry in the morning and a networking test at 3, which I did really bad on, but it doesn't matter cause I still have an A in the class. Tomorrow, I won't have any classes again because I will hopefully be in Brookings, but then Friday I should have all my classes.
I am supposed to let you all know that I am very glad to be moving out of my dorm room, where my roommate, Matt, drinks all my pop, never takes out the garbage, and likes to make gay jokes. Just thought I would let you know.
*UPDATE* Look for a rebuttal on Matt's blog in the very near future about these claims.
