Ok, time for the revival of the Life of Joe. I know it has been forever since I last update, and I'm sorry. I just haven't felt like it with school and stuff going on. But, now that the semester is over, I have decided to attempt to bring back my diary.
This semester went by really quickly, and it was a lot of fun. I got to hang out with Tina quite a bit, which was really awesome. My classes weren't too bad, but I'm glad they are finally over.
As for this summer, I will be staying in Brookings to work full time at Daktronics, where I wok at the network help desk. I will be renting a room in the fraternity called "Farmhouse," which will be alright since most of the farmer guys won't be there over the summer, and it only costs $200 a month, which includes utilities. It is going to suck having to buy groceries and such, but I will just have to eat cheap, which shouldn't be too bad.
Tina will be working at Dakota Central this summer, which is Huron's main post office. She will mainly be working the night shift, probably starting at around midnight and working til maybe 5 or 6 am. It might be a little hard not being able to see her that much, but our relationship will easily be able to handle it.
This fall, I am hoping to get the position of Residential Computer Consultant in Brown Hall. This position basically makes me the computer/network technician for all of the residents of the dorm. It shouldn't be too bad of a deal, since it gives me a single room for free, plus some wages. The first couple weeks of school might suck since I will have to help everyone get their Internet working in their rooms, but after that it should be easy. Also, I don't have any classes on Thursday until marching band at 4pm, which is going to be awesome. I am also going to take saxophone lessons from Dr. Crawley again, which I am very much looking forward to.
