I am officially somewhat moved into Farmhouse in Brookings, and I'm not sure what to think. It's weird not having people to hang out with all the time, since I don't know many people staying in Brookings this summer. Luckily, work will take up a lot of my time, and I will probably start going to bed at a decent hour since I have to work at 8am. My room at Farmhouse isn't quite as nice as I thought it was going to be, but it should be alright once I get settled. Some other guy is kind of living in the other half of the room right now, but he should be moving out within the next couple days. One thing I am very pleased with are the beds. The mattresses are VERY comfortable, which is awesome. My summer will mainly be spent working and playing Maplestory, and hopefully I don't get too bored. I think I also might start playing DDR again to get some exercise, as I really need it.
As I was moving in and unpacking my stuff last night, I kind of got a little sick, and now my knee really hurts. I hope I don't have the mumps, so please pray for me to be better, although I do feel a lot better today.
So I have some extremely good news. I got a call this morning from the people for the RCC position, and the guy offered me the position in Brown Hall, which I gladly accepted. It looks like I will be once again living in the dorms, but this time it's for free and by myself. I will find out more information about the position within a month, and I'm looking forward to it.
To all of my friends out there, give me a call once in a while or talk to me on msn, because you rock. Let me know how your lives have been and I will let you know when I will be back in Huron (which will be at least the next 3 weekends).
